Light
The objective of this project is to use the natural light from the sun to design a proposed non-denominational chapel. The chapel will be located on campus.

Box Models
Three models had to be made to understand the way light enters a space and how it can be used to lighten up a room. Different forms to curve the light had different results, the most effective was the use of a curved surface that reflects the light to the ceiling.

Location
A location had to be picked to place the chapel so that we can design the building accordingly to how the light hits it during different times in the day. This space is great because there aren’t too many buildings surrounding it, light from the sun should hit it well as it rises and sets.
